Tennyson Beach 2006

On January the 7th 2006, I enticed over 60 people to meet me at dawn,
at Tennyson Beach in South Australia.

The 60 people had responded to an advert' I had placed in the Adelaide Advertiser,
asking for participants to be a part of an exciting artistic venture!

I asked the participants to wear a black suit, white shirt and to
bring a briefcase and umbrella, no shoes or socks would be required.

I gave them all bowler hats, then lined them up in knee deep water,
in a staggered formation along the coast, for about 300 metres.
The result was my first Surreal Human Sculpture,
which represented the yearning of the corporate battery hen,
for the greater infinity of nature & the universe,
beyond the confines of work stations, city streets & uniform dress codes!!
