On a pristine Monday morning in February 08, I arrived at Henley Square,
to be greeted by an array of formally attired Adelaide Symphony Orchestra musicians.
Eighteen in all, had agreed to play me a sea side symphony. They waded precariously in to the sea,
so I could photograph them for a series of paintings...and yes, they used their real instruments - even a viola
that could not be exposed to the sun for longer than 30 minutes, and a $45,000 tuba, the pride and joy of my mate
Peter Whish-Wilson, arguably one of the world's best tuba players!
